Section D
Achievements and performance
Summary oflhe main
achlevements of the charlty
during the year
Sadly from the 23 March 2020 lockdown due to Coronavirus the activities
of Archway were severely impacted. Lafgoly due to the complete closure
of schcM)Is and churches. Activity packs were sent to families for Easter
but th8n through to the end of June it was impossible to continue with
normal activib'es due to schrJ)l and church closures. The Trustees IcM)k
the difficult decision to put the Archway worker on furfough in order to
preserve funds and ensure the financial Survival of the Trust.
-Ilowng the inlroducts'on of flexible fijrlough and the lifting of some
>trictions in July some work ￿SUmed. A Covid Secure fom of Pop up
Praise restarted at Hartwell Church in Odober 2020 and was a great
success.
Throughout the restrictions the Trust was able to maintain contact with
families and the signs are that the VK)rk of Archway is ne8d8d and
wanted more than ever.
The Arc*way worker retired in July 2021 and a new workèr started in
September on 2 days per week.
With Covid restrictions lifting, events restarted in the churches in August
and now run every month. rotakn'ng round the ¢hur¢hes in the villages. An
after school club is run at Hartwell Sch￿1 each week and Tea, Toasc
Talk & Toys and Assemblies are being run in schools.
