## **Achievements and Performance**

||SORP reference||
|---|---|---|
|Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.|Para 1.20|The vision of expanding the Debt / Money
Advice work from the original 6 hour role based
at Christ Church to a 12 hour role based at 3
centres continued in 2024 and has, for some
time, been our settled pattern. This is thanks to
the generous funding and support that we have
received. Unfortunately, there was a short
disruption to the service due to staff shortages
and redundancies at our main debt advice
partner. Although continuing to work with our
main partner, we have secured additional
support from a local welfare and benefits team
in order to maintain a good level of support.
The Debt / Money Advice work is firmly
attached to the food poverty support in each of
the centres; reaching many of those most in
need. The many ‘success’ stories have been
due to the recruitment of skilled debt advisor,
with the right interpersonal skills to build
positive relationships.
We anticipate the workload of the Money
Advisor increasing, with 2025 looking as though
it may be another challenging year for many.|
