Anthonia Oyindamola Folakemi Afelumo Coshare (AOFAC) Foundation was set up in the name of young lady who died of a rare blood disease called Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura(TTP)

Our Mission:

We are a patient advocacy group with the following goals:

· Supporting patients, families and friends that are affected by TTP.

· Aiming to raise funds to support vital research into TTP with interest in Sickle Cell Disease and Lupus SLE.

· Promoting greater awareness of the disease in both the medical world and in the public arena

· Supporting and working with medical professionals and National organisations in the UK.

· Preserving the memory of Anthonia through education.

Our Vision:

A world where every person affected by TTP receives timely and accurate diagnoses, compassionate care, and improved quality of life.

We envision a society where TTP is widely understood by both medical practitioners and the public, leading to better treatment options and enhanced support for patients, families/caregivers and friends.
