## **Trustees' Annual Report**
AOFAC Foundation was set up in the name of young lady who died of a rare blood disease called Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura(TTP)
**Our Mission:** - To keep Anthonia Oyindamola's memories live and work towards fulfilling her most cherished dreams and wishes; part of that was to be a specialised TTP nurseso as to support people that are suffering from TTP.
To bring awareness to Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) and providing support for people and families that are affected by TTP.
To research into TTP and find cure to sufferers.
## **Our TTP Awareness Events**
**Street Leafleting:** From on set of the charity and in the year ended 2019/2020, we had varities of TTP awareness events across the country most especially in Thurrock and in London: until Covid-19 pandemic lockdown whereby we have to adapt our servicse including the awarenesses to online via Zoom.
## **Annual TTP Awareness and Fund Raising Walk:**
Our Yearly TTP awareness and fund raising walk is every first Saturday of September, This is open to all; We invite all and community leaders such as the local mayor, councillors and local press: Thurrock Gazzette to join us for a 5k walk/ Run in Grays, Thurrock, Essex. This is to bring awareness to TTP, and to raise funds for the charity - this was done by individual participants and virtually due to covid-19 pandemic
## **Annual Praise and Prayer Concert**
Our Yearly praise and prayer concert is a sunday afternoon event on every first sunday of September normally done on the High Street with permission from local council and the police, whereby we invite all local residence, Public Health, Faith Leaders, Local MP in the community and community leaders such as the local mayor, councillors and the local press: for music concerts, prayers and inform congregations of TTP, other rare blood conditions such as Sickle Cell and other auto-immune conditions such as Lupus SLE was done virtually on zoom beacuse of Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020/2021
## **Annual Charity Ball and TTP Awareness Evening.**
This is one of our biggest annual event that we do on every first Saturday of December. This is open to every one across UK and around the world; this is a ticket sales event where we target at least 250 people to attend for a broader awareness of TTP. We supplement for some people that wants to come but cannot afford to pay for tickets
Consultant Heamatologist are invited to talk on TTP for few minutes and TTP patient case stories are also presented. We also invites TTP sufferers, unfortunately, due to Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown, it was done virtually as a free event on zoom in 2020/2021
## **Grants and Finance**
In 2020/21, Our income came from standing order and direct donations from the public; there wasn't any ticket sales and donation during our charity ball and other events due to Covid-19 pandemic (£0), grant from Sanofi Genzyme (£4429), Funding from community Lottery Fund - Covid -19 grant (£9992) and direct donations(4404) Totalled £18825
