**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

At the beginning of this financial year, we were successful with two grants. The first a two-year bid (Arts Council England) and the second a three-year bid (Children in Need). This financial year was therefore led predominantly by these grants.

- 1) We continued with ward-based practice on the cardiac and neuromedical units, accompanying infants, children and young people in exploring movement, through touch, sensory play and improvised dance.

- 2) VR project-We had a weeklong residency in SW France collaborating with Paul McCann creating two 360° films (forest and beach). Following editing and testing we launched this project in May 2024 at Alder Hey and initiated contact with Healthy Mind to explore having the content uploaded onto their headsets which are used by several departments at Alder Hey.

- 3) We were successful in gaining funding from the D’Oyly Carte Foundation for musician Henry Horrell to be able to join us on the wards for a period of 4 months.

- 4) We received news of a grant from Alder Hey for a new project on the oncology ward, collaborating with musicians Hedi Pinkerfeld and Georgina Aasgaard. Project to begin in September 2024.
