Once again activities in the hall showed an increase during the year. Hiring for weekly artivities has
not quite returned to the pre-pandemic levels but interest in hirin8 for regular events continues to
rise.
This year we held a "Gig on the Green" featuring a group based in the village and which once again
was a free event open to all in the village and the neighbouring area. The turnout was very pleasin&
The other major event of the year was a weekend festival of flowers and crafts held jointly with
Thompson's5t Martin's Church and the Millennium Green. The second-hand book sales which are
held in the hall and are organised in conjunction with Thompson's church and the church of a
neighbouring village continue to grow in popularity-
Bookin8s for parties and weddings continue to increase.
The Trustees have events planned for the coming year. and intend to hold a weekend festival of
flowers and uafts next year using the Community Hall. Thompson's St Martln's Church and the
Millennium Green. At the year end was planning well underway.
