## **CHARITY COMMISSION ANNUAL REPORT** 

## **YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2022** 

The hall ended the year with restrictions removed and business slowly returning.  For various reasons the regular bookers before the start of the pandemic have not returned, though we hope that some will later in 2022.  While we are in general seeing a reluctance by previous hall users to return to group activities our coffee mornings are becoming more popular. 

Together other village groups we held a celebration event in September 2021 which combined the VE Day celebration which had been planned for May 2020 but had to be postponed due to the Covid pandemic with a picnic to celebrate a return to a semblance of normality. 

Bookings for parties are now on the increase which is a good sign and the first wedding reception booking was received. 

We look forward to improved use of the hall in the coming year and we are already planning a variety of hall organised events for the remainder of the year.
