THOMPSON COMMUNITY HALL Charity Commission Report Year ended 31 March 2021 In common with other village and community halls activities for Thompson Community Hall throughout the year were imparted by the Covid-19 epidemic. The combination of government restrictions and the advice relating to personal shielding resulted in the Hall being c105ed for the full year. The Hèll received only a small amount of income relatin8 to hlre and sundries in the year. It wa5 however successful in securing local authority Brant support to cover non-distretionary costs, which removed the need to Use reserves. Essential expenditure such as insurarbce, maintenance and utilities contlnued but 311 other expenditure was deferred. Preparations have been made to open the Hall again as soon as government $triCtIonS are lifted, however we expert Income to be adversely imparted until the epidemlc is fulty under control.
