**Objects:** 2.1. TO PRESERVE OR ASSIST IN THE PRESERVATION OF LIFE IN FLOOD CONDITIONS. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE FLOOD RESCUE UNIT ARE SET OUT AS FOLLOWS:2.1.1. SAVE LIVES AND MITIGATE DAMAGE DURING A FLOOD INCIDENT OR INCIDENT OCCURRING AT INLAND FLOODS, OR IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF A FLOOD.2.1.2. WORK WITH THE INCIDENT MANAGERS AS DIRECTED WITHIN THE TRAINING LEVELS OF THE TEAM PRESENT.THESE ACTIONS TO BE WITHIN THE LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS OF INCIDENT RESPONSE.

**Activities:** To preserve or assist in the preservation of life in flood conditions.  To assist in the search of missing people in a water environment.The objectives of the rescue unit are set out as follows:1. Save lives and mitigate damage during a flood incident or incident occurring at inland floods, or in the immediate vicinity of a flood.2.  Assist in the search for missing people in or near water
