## **Hall Green United Community Church Trustees’ Annual Report Year ending 31 August 2022** 

The past year has been one of progress and consolidation.  Following the past few years of restrictions due the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic we have continued our Sunday morning worship service using the hybrid model of worshiping in-church and at-home, utilising the Zoom platform as much as possible.  This has not been without its challenges, but we have embraced the opportunities and connections it gives us, and we are remaining a strong family of God because of it.  We have, sadly, lost a few members of the church family and they are very much missed but we are happy that new people are choosing to worship with us and make Hall Green United Community Church their spiritual home. 

We are very grateful that members and friends have continued to support the church financially during these difficult years and we remain in a strong position because of their dedication. 

Maintenance of the building is, and always will be, ongoing and we are blessed with a fabulous team of people who offer their time and talents to keep us up-to-date with repairs and the legalities required. 

The use of the building has increased, and we are glad that the community find us a valuable resource in the area.  We held an afternoon celebration event for HM Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum jubilee anniversary.  This was a wonderful opportunity to meet the local residents and they enjoyed the atmosphere and welcome of church. 

Our focus remains, as ever in our motto, ‘To worship God, to know Jesus, to serve others’, and we continue to develop relationships with each other and our local and national denominational partners. 

May God be with us in the coming year as we continue the work we are called to do and be the people of God we are called to be.
