The focus<br>accounts. of our activities remains the<br>education and development of the<br>children. Trained and qualified early<br>years practitioners work with the<br>children to support them in achieving<br>the early learning goals for each of<br>the seven areas of learning and<br>development within the Early Years<br>Foundation Stage. This is done<br>through a variety of fun and engaging<br>skills and activities. The children<br>benefit from the advancement in their<br>education in these key areas and also<br>from their personal and social<br>development —both from being<br>independent from parents and carers<br>and also from developing new<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

We continued to provide a safe,<br>simulating and caring environment for<br>our children. Parents were given<br>Summary of the main  regular information about their<br>Para 1.20<br>achievements of the  children’s social and academic<br>charity, identifying the  progress through ‘Tapestry, in<br>difference the charity’s  addition to the traditional end of term<br>work has made to the  reports. We maintained regular<br>circumstances of its  contact with parents throughout the<br>beneficiaries and any  year through informal contacts and<br>wider benefits to society  through our newsletter. All children<br>as a whole. have a key worker who are<br>responsible for updating the children’s<br>tapestry.<br>We had a trip to Burton Adventure<br>Park where the children met Santa<br>and Mrs Claus. The children also put<br>on a Christmas show. At Easter we<br>had an Egg Hunt around the village<br>with a surprise visit from the Bunny.<br>The Queens Jubilee Celebration week<br>ended with a visit from a member of<br>the Parish Council who sponsored a<br>party/entertainment and<br>commemorative mug presented on<br>the day. We have taken part in the<br>Village open Garden with the planting<br>of Sun Flowers and Strawberries. The<br>year ends on a Graduation ceremony<br>with a leavers party afterwards.<br>All events are inclusive no matter<br>what age or sessions attended.<br>Staff attended training courses<br>throughout the year to keep up to<br>date with mandatory training and<br>improve skills and knowledge<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>
