From the very beglnnlng the focus of the Charity has been to PrOe supportfor the more vulnerable older people livln8 In the t¢)wn of Sturn)Inster Newton as well as those in the more rural andlsolated vlllages and hamlets of North Dorset. Our servlces havè ¥arled over tlme accordlng to need, vo5unteer support and flnance. We are a small Charity but are continuously assessingthe needs in our area and when possible have introduced new servrtes. This year we have expanded our foot clinic trom fortnightly to weekly. the balance class has been Increased to ti¥ice weekty, we have started a new technolo service to support people in need of help and we have InCread the hours ofour Communlty Outre8ch Worker. W¢ currentty provlde: 8efriendindFriendshlp Seryice Welfare Advice and Information Telephone Support ServSce Weekly Foot Health Clinic Twice weekly Balance Classes held on Tuesday and Wednesdav Technolo Support Seryl¢e Communityoutreach Information and Support SeThlce As a small independent Charlty. we need to continually fundralse to ensure we can continve to provlde all our services and develop the Charity as required. Our maln need is for Core Funding whlch is supported by funds raised from our services, our events and donatlons. O4er the years we have worked hard to build 8ood relatlonshlps wlth a number of organlsatlons who know our work well and are willing to support us on a regular basls, we aregrateful forthis support. We Contlnually explore the development of partnerships wlth similarly minded or8ani5ations to ensure we do not dupllcate seThIS but instead enhance their work as well as ours by contlnued networkln8. We have also worked hard to reduce our sts and continualty monltor our services to ensure that they remain relevant and susiainable.
