ObJeGtlves and activltie•
Berkhamsted Community Cricket and Sports Club I'lhe club'} is a registered charty and Community ¢lub running
a number of youth 8nd adult cricket teams at all ability levels for both m8le$ and females and has in excess of 500
p¢aying members. It also provid£s Ils venue lor community events and interacts regularly with other charitable
organisations to help them meet their obi'edives. 11 has a close rèlationship with Berkh8mstsd Raiders Ctsmmunity
Football Club, a fellow registered charity which makes use of our facilities Tunning in excess of 90 tsams and with
1,200 members.

Manogem•nt and governance arrnngemants
The charity is managed by a BoaTd of Trustees in Ilne with the gDveming document ISSU￿ on 25 May 2015, as
am8nded on 3 September 2023, en¢J has complied with its duty lo have dve regard to the guidance on public
benefrt published by the commission in exercising rts powers or dulles. The governing document require6 8
mlnimum of five trustees with a m8ximum of eight.. in lin& with the governing document, onè third of the trustees
ralired from office at the Annual Genetal Meeting and were subsequently Te*lected.'

The club ian over 20 youth teams for girts and boys from under 7 through t¢ under 16 as well as four senior le8gue
toam5 and 8 women's team.

The aim of the trustees is lo ensure tbal the ch*ity's operating ￿$ts and donations made are etsve￿d by income
to continue to generate funds that can be invested in future pmiects and devek)pment of the facilitiès. Overall
nel ineome increased by £13k in the year.

The Trustees m8intsin an annual reserve and sulficlent cash hatsn￿ to ensure that ¢astt flows are cL)vered for a
rolling 12-month period. The closing reserve5 are £146.53312023'. £124,700). The Trustee5 eypecl the Teserves
to be used for future capitsl expendIlu￿ and other proiecis in line with the charity'$ objeth"ves.
