The charity gives grants to other charities to achieve its objects. The main project is in Burkina Faso where the charity has given grants to a local charity. The charity also gives grants to Turkish based charities Kareem Home and Suriyeli gocmenler dernegi. In addition, they provide grants to a Pakistan based charity called Bright Hope Summary of the main Foundation. Turkey project
Suriyeli gocmenler dernegi monitoring visit
Participants: Abdul Qudeir Khan , Haroon Latif , If’haam Haq Mohammed and Qaseem Ahmed
In May 2023 a sacred Giving team was able to visit the project. During the visit we were able to visit the project offices . They teach Quran , Arabic, Islam and they have therapy that is led by the scholars twice a week. We learnt that the charity activities are to support orphans, provide welfare , translation services and the provision of funding to cover medication for the sick .
Mr Abdul was able to recommend the charity to look for other UK based charities working in Turkey and Syria to support their charitable activities . He also highlighted the importance of an MOU and Partnership agreement. He also encouraged Qasim to contact other charities to partner with Suriyeli gocmenler dernegi.
Pakistan project
Bright Hope Foundation
Bright Hope Foundation during the year was able to provide free check-up treatment, lab tests, ultrasound and medicine in their free health care camps in impoverished areas of Pakistan such as Nankana, Nishatabad, Masoorabad and many more. Furthermore, the organisation was able to set up a flood relief camp where they provided food, clothes and blankets in the hardship season of the Pakistan floods.

Burkina Faso
Association Islamique de Niamanga
The organisation successfully completed the foundation and the first-floor stage before Ramadan 2023. Sacred Giving was able to raise funds for the second stage of the construction of Taqwa School Mosque.
Taqwa School Mosque will provide a permanent education environment and Masjid that will be vital role in bringing the community together and improving the lives of future generations. The school will provide formal education facilities, Quranic and Arabic studies. Furthermore, Taqwa School Mosque will offer people from all social and religious backgrounds a safe, inclusive environment especially for orphans and destitute children who will require regular support through sponsorship programmes.

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
