The Charity is a company limited by guaraniee governed by its rnemordndum and article5 of association, a deed of irust
and is registered as a Charity with th¢ Charity Commission.
Rteruitmtnt and Appointment of new trustee5
New irustees are selected and appointed by the existing trustee5. Appointment of Me￿berS of th¢ Committe¢ is
governed by the Constitution dated ?? April 2015. The Committee is auth0ri5ed to appoint new members to fill
vacancies arisinrw through resignaiion or death of any existing member.
Relevant Interests
Any irusiee with a relevant interesi is required to disclose such interest and withdraw frotn any decision5 where conflict
may arise.

The rrustees continue to asse55 and monitor rhe risks to which the Charity is exposed and to ensure appropriate controls
are in place ￿ provide reasonable assurance against fraud and e￿Or.
ORIECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objective$ and aims
The Charity's twin objectives, as set out in the Governing D(￿uMent. are
a- to relieve those in need by reason of ill health, or disabiliry. and to preserv¢ the health of patients. carers and staff at
St. Georges Hospital. London, and N.H.S. Hospitals regionally and nationally through funding and through the
advancement of research iT)to supportive and cornplementary therapies. and
to advance the education of health care professionals. including supportive th¢rnpi5ts, palients. their carers and the
general public about the rol¢ and benefits of supportive and Complementary therapies.
There 15 no means testing relating to provision5, SUPPOrt is available at ihe point of need to all referred to the Full Circl¢
Se￿1¢t at St. Georg¢'5 Hospital.
Public benefit
The trustees. a5 r¢quired by section 4 of th¢ Charities Act ?006, have paid due regard to the Charity Commis%ion'5
guidance on providing public benefit wh¢n reviewing the Charity'5 aims and objectives in deciding what acÉiviti¢s the
Charity should undertake and how the donations made have advanced the objects of Ihe Charity.
