Public BenefiL AchievemeDts 8Dd PerfonDaD¢¢ The Trustees hav¢ given due regard to th¢ guidanc¢ issu¢d by the Charity Conm]ission on 'public benefit.. The Cburch has continued irs activities during the l&st twelve months. We have a service on a Sunday morning with a growing numb¢r of att¢nd¢es. Th¢ number of children in Sunday school is also growing. The prayer meeting ev¢ry otb¢r Tuesday night h&$ continued through the year. This will be enhanced in the coming months with a Bible Study on the alternate week to the prayer meeting. We have continued with a cbildr¢n's meeting on a Monday night and now have ftheen cbildren on the list. Some of these children are now attending on a Sunday for the Sunday School with seveTal parents and grandparents bringing them and sthying for the service. The last Saturday of the month continues to be the Bacon Buty with funds raised for the hospice. During the last year we have also had several special events such as a Harvest Thanksgiving Weeken￿ Nativity play and an Easler walk of witn¢ss. Several members have been involved in Nazarene District meetings throughout the year. This financial year has ended witb a major cljange to the Church in that we now have a part-time Pastor. Next year we are planning to expand the building by purch&sing the house attached to the Church. The cbarity is aware of Safeglwding procedures and takes advice from CCPAS on these matters. There have been no serious incidents requiring reporting to th¢ Charity Con]mission during the year. Financial Revie Incom¢ is mainly derived from tithes and offerings from church members and rental income from the Manse. The trustees are pttsented with a fmancial statement by the Treasurer at their meetings and discuss the details. Financial decisions are ￿sUallY made at the meetings. The Treasurer keeps the appropriate legal records which fully satisfy the legal requirements placed on Trustees. Free reserves &s at the year end were £40,530 (2024 - £40,255).
