**Objects:** TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF PATIENTS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, CHILDREN, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, WHO HAVE SEVERE PHYSICAL, MENTAL OR LIFE THREATENING ILLNESSES CAUSING LIFE TIME DISABILITIES SUCH AS CEREBRAL PALSY, DOWN SYNDROME AND FATAL ILLNESSES LIKE CANCER, BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.

**Activities:** To preserve and protect the health of patients, particularly but not exclusively, children, their families and carers, who have severe physical, mental or life threatening illnesses causing life time disabilities, by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the statutory authorities.
