YEAR ENDING 30th June 2021 Report
This year started well, and we have seen families coming back to hire for their children’s parties, we have good regular hirers that come week after week and have built up a good clientele. We still have issues with the youths, but things are in motion to try and tackle the situation.
Covid has been really challenging on everything, with trying to keep covid clean, making sure all volunteers are kept safe and making sure the centre is a safe environment for the hires and their clients, but the volunteers have done a great job and we are very proud of how we have managed ourselves during this difficult time.
Volunteers are still low, but we have been managing with the help we have and are doing well.
Our main plan for the coming year is volunteers’ recruitment, we were planning to do this last year but with covid it has been extremely hard because people want to stay at home where they feel safe.
This year we would like to do more events for the local community, if its support for residents to cope with food banks, help with the elderly or families that have had a bad time during these bad few months.
