To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to advancing the education of young people for the public benefit by the provision of grants and awards.

One Goes Up provides bursaries and prizes to high achieving children and young people in selected schools in South Africa and the UK to enable them to continue their education, where this might not otherwise have been possible due to financial hardship or lack of opportunity. 

Since 2008 we have partnered with Rhenish Girls' High School in South Africa to fund prizes, bursaries and scholarships to reward excellence in academic, creative & sporting pursuits. We began by providing prize money for specific subjects such as Computer Science, and awards for excellence. Subsequently we have started providing scholarships, which paid the full year's school fees for chosen individuals.
