We were delighted to announce in Jung 2025, thot

Alleyn's Schools Group ond become Alleyns
Ooklield IAOI from 31 July 2025. AO is rooled in
51rongvolues and a deep commilmenl to an
inspiring holi5tric edvcation. For oYer140 years, AO
h05 raised 9enerolions of young18amers and now,
as ptsrl of the Alleyn's larnily, AO will conlinve to
offer an enriching foundotionl preparing children to
thrive not just in school, bul in life. Together, we
believe Ihol every child eon become all they con be.
While Alleyn s has acquired it, the intention is
absolutely that AO will relain its vibrant culture ond
Close-knit cornrnunity, while aligning more clossly wilh Ihe ethos ond educohonal philosophy which defines

Despite the cvrrenl challenge5 lor the independent school sector, and the imp051tion of VAT on lees holfwoy
through lo51 yeor, the School rernoins firmly commttted lo this bvrsory pro9romme and is now supporting
even more lomilies to ensure their child remains at Alleyn's. This remains possible since no lee income is
used lo fund bursaries, and instead. we are deeply forlvnate lo benelil Irorr the significant generosity of Ihè
Dulwich Estate, the Worshipful Company of Saddlers and many other donors who supporl our bursary

orgoni50tion in 1882, a 'n$w' Alleyn's School wos born. It rnoved to its present sile on Townley Road,
Dulwich, in 1887 ond became fully co-educotional in 1970 lone ol the first schools ol its kind lo do sol.
