## **Chairs Report**
It's been an honor chairing Siiboo this past year and I am delighted to be chairing it again this coming year. As always, I would like to thank the trustees for their continuing support throughout this past year and also for their dedication and commitment to the charity, its aims and objectives and I am looking forward to working with them again in the year ahead. So to am I looking forward to another year working with our dedicated team in The Gambia who work tirelessly to make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget and more often than not outwith the hours they are paid to work.
I am very pleased to report that construction on the third classroom has began and a new toilet block too. We had hoped to be further ahead but with COVID stopping our fundraising events what money we did have for the construction process had to be redirected to maintain the schools normal day to day activities.
This coming year is going to be very challenging and we're going to have to work very hard and be very creative with any fundraising activity so we can continue to fund our project.
Finaly I must thank North West Cumbria and specifically the Copeland and Allerdale districts for their continuing support because without it we wouldn't be able to do what we do.
