## **Forest Green Cemetery October 2025**

## **Minutes of Annual meeting**

1. Cathy and Nigel carried out the ‘push’ test. One headstones was identified as ‘wobbles’ and the owners unknown so was made safe, one sunken grave was infilled.

2. The area known as ‘old section’ remains fenced off to stop public access and signed accordingly. The Heath vault is still marked as dangerous.

3. The area levelled years ago where the ground was too uneven is now mowed and pathways established.

4. Wild grass seed has been sown and the yellow rattle continues to flourish.

5. Of the 100 Hawthorne whips planted most have survived

6. One of the Lime tress had its inspection and work was carried out to reduce its size and remove dead branches. The second Lime tree was found to have a nesting crow yet again so work re scheduled for Oct 2026

7. The plan showing the cutting cycle will again be followed next year and areas defined will be left for wildlife.

8. All trustees said they are happy to serve for another three years.
