Cathy and Nigel carried out the ‘push’ test. One headstones was identified as ‘wobbles’ as the owner advised, one sunken grave was infilled.

The area known as ‘old section’ remains fenced off to stop public access and signed accordingly. The Heath vault is still marked as dangerous.

The area levelled three years ago where the ground was too uneven is now mowed and pathways established.

Wild grass seed has been sown and the yellow rattle continues to flourish.

Of the 100 Hawthorne whips planted most have survived

After a visitation by the council tree officer previously we have kept the growth at the base of the lime trees short and trimmed.

The plan showing the cutting cycle will again be followed next year and areas defined will be left for wildlife.

All trustees said they are happy to serve for another three years.
