|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**The Choral Society resumed rehearsals**<br>**in September 2023 and performed 2**<br>**concerts in local venues – one at**<br>**Christmas and one  in April 2024.**<br>**The choir also sang a dedication service**<br>**a Grasmere church in October 23 and an**<br>**Evensong service at Kendal Parish**<br>**Church in May 24 as part of our ongoing**<br>**programme to support the performance**<br>**of church music in local parish**<br>**churches in Cumbria.**<br>**As part of our community engagement**<br>**activities the choir took part in carol**<br>**singing for the residents of a local**<br>**charity and participated in the annual**<br>**Keswick Christmas Tree Festival; and**<br>**had a stall at the annual summer fete at**<br>**St John’s Keswick. 50% of the proceeds**<br>**from the stall donated to St John’s**<br>**church. The retiring collection at the**<br>**Christmas Concert raised £640 which**<br>**was donated to 2 local food banks.**|
