Ask Erwin aims to support people to understand their health & care rights and have a voice.
Ask Erwin wants to support people to be more informed and involved in decision making around their health and support needs. This can be particularly important to people with a disability, long term health needs or older people.
Ask Erwin will support people to understand and use for their benefit; in particular the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Act.
Ask Erwin will achieve this though providing information and support services. This will be a combination of public workshops, closed support groups and 1:1 support.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Ask Erwin’s information and help service provided support to people in relation to their health and social care needs and in particular information around Lasting Power of Attorneys.
Ask Erwin continues to be part of the Ministry of Justices consultation and review and trailing of the Lasting Power of Attorney online process and documentation. Ask Erwin has attended the consultation meetings throughout the year as well as being interviewed and trialling the beta service and providing feedback
