Examples have been the Gissing Children's Centre, Citizen's Advice Bureau, Lapwing Education a transitional education provider delivering highly personalised and therapeutic education programmes and Parenting Apart.an organisation for Supervised contact for estranged families. Environmental organisations such as the River Waveney Trust, Norfolk Wldlrfe Trust and the Round Towers Churches organisation have also sought to use the building. The Suc￿sS of our hiring is also down to sound administration of the hiring process and the high level of customer care offered. We have held a nurnber of events in the year, the most successful being a classic car and open gardens event, which attracted over 500 people and was an important fundraiser. We have also continued lo run a regular café. This has really helped counter social isolation during the dark winter months and has become increasingly popular with attendance regularly in excess of 25. Our constitution requires that we make available funds to provide bursary for young people in the village lo support their education andlor career development. We were able to award bNO well desepded burseries this year.
