| The Trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance where relevant. The organisation is a charity, open without restriction to any person whether UK-resident or not. Its trustees are unpaid. The activities of the organisation are:- • Providing immediate financial assistance after serious motorcycle rta’s •Providing immediate and ongoing financial support to families of riders after serious and fatal rta’s. • Providing home help equipment • Giving free advice to any member of the public on motorcycle safety. • Offering free, first responder first aid courses. • Providing Mobility aids. • Providing long term counselling to adults and children. • Providing Respite holidays for riders and families. • Maintaining a reference library of relevant books, including children’s books and documents devoted to the education and support of riders and families after serios rta’s and fatalities. • Operating an interesting and free-to-all, educational web site devoted to Support and education of riders and families. • Giving free advice to any member of the public wishing to understand and know more about motorcycle safety. • Offering grants to UK residents to help toward the cost of rent, mortgages, utility bills. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
Support line
Last year our dedicated Support line team helped over 500 individual calls, providing the advice, support and reassurance to individuals and families.
This year we have launched our dedicated WhatsApp messaging service offering support.
Web community
Our website has been relaunched as an information hub with a growing community of users this now assists more in giving information and support about how to manage and live after severe injury.
Health advice
We provide free up-to-date expert information to help people after serious rta’s, to date over 400000 people have used our website to get information.
Material living aids
Our organisation has supplied and delivered over 250 items to individuals and families across the uk. Making there day to day lives easier.
Mobility aids and vehicles
The charity supplied various mobility aids , wheelchairs and vehicle conversions.
Respite Holiday
We have been able to continue our family respite scheme
Financial Grants
Grants have continued and have played an important role inb the support of families and injured parties, enabling independence and quality of living.
Counselling
Counselling has continued to be a mainstay of the charities support structure. We continue to grow and develop our resources and hope to expand our support in the coming years.
