Date: 4 September 2026

To: The Charity Commission for England and Wales

Re: Joy Ministries – Confirmation of Inactivity and No Income or Expenditure

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of Joy Ministries to formally notify you of the current position regarding the activities and financial affairs of the organisation.

Since the return of some of our church members following the Brexit period, Joy Ministries has not been able to maintain regular church gatherings or organised ministry activities. Consequently, the organisation has remained largely inactive during this period.

As there have been no church gatherings or organised activities, there has been no income received and no expenditure incurred by Joy Ministries during this period.

Despite the present inactivity, we wish to retain the charity's registration. We believe that there may be an opportunity in the future to resume our church gatherings and ministry activities when circumstances permit and our members are able to come together again.

We therefore wish to keep Joy Ministries registered while we remain in this period of inactivity. We understand that maintaining charitable status carries continuing responsibilities, and we will endeavour to comply with all applicable Charity Commission requirements, including any reporting or notification requirements that apply to the organisation.

Should you require any further information, clarification, or documentation concerning the current status of Joy Ministries, I would be pleased to provide it.

Thank you for your understanding and for keeping our records updated.

Yours faithfully,

Pastor Joseph Gilson 07383989122
