Northem Llghts Chuych was establshed as a reglstered Charlty In Aprll 2015 and Is affiliated wlth a famlly of churches
known a5 'CRC Churches Internalional,. The Church a150 works wlth other church and mi5SK>n organisations of
similar vision, to pursue its obj'ectives.
The governan￿ of the Church is undertaken by a board of trustees who. with the leadership of the pastor, manage
the affalrs of the Church, and Inltiate and support the splrltual programme of the Church to fulf61 Its charltable
purpose. There should be at least three tr1151ees on the board at any one time.
Twstees can be appolnted to and ￿ moved from the board upon the recommendation of the pastor with the
concurrence of ai least three flfth5 of the board. Therels no minimum or maximum tenure.

The Constitution was adopted on 26th September 2013, and has been subsequently amended on 20th Aprll 2015.
The objectives of the Church are to advance religlon In the prov151on and maintaining of places of worshlpi and to
provlde better understandin8 of Christ's Gospel.
The Church alms lo provide spiritual advice and counsellin& reachin8 Out to the unfortunate and needy of the
comrnunlty. The Church also sUPPOrts the coheslon of society, by mlnlstering d1￿ctlY to whatever deflnable
segment of soclety It may be able to, whether by gender, age, rellgk>n, cultural background or soclo-economlc
circumstances. Charitable, Chri5t<entred thurches are set up to the betterment of the local tommunity.
Artlvities & Athlevements
The Church enjoyed a successful year a5 we consoIKlated meetin8 on Sunday afternoons at Heath URC in Halrfax.
Thls year we saw the beneflts of the decisions made in P￿¥•ouS year5 05 key people were not overworked, and
the church enjoyed growth and a good sense of positive momentum.
We had a number of baptisms arKi also continued to hold Northern Llghts Youth Church on a FrSday ni8ht In
Todmorden.
There was no chan8e to our stsffing Structu￿ with Pastor Catherine employed 3 days per week throughout the year.
although she gave far above and beyond her required hour5.

Pasior Catherine also travelled to Moldova to kick start the rninistry again after the pandemic. We now enjoy manv
good relationships in that country, including wlth Pastor 51ava In the capitsl. Chisnau, as well as Var￿US ministry
leaders in Balti.
The year finished on a Sad note with the funeral of Santa Curry. who was baptised and married at Northern Llghts
church and passed away at just 36 years old. We were able to support Kevln through Ihis very dark time.
Full detai15 of the financSèl transactions are contalned in the attached accounts and total income for the year
was £40.82412024.. £48.1281, and after deducting total expenditure £38.28512024.. £48.7531 the net income

Responsibilities and Imsls of rewl
As the Charlty Tnjstees you are responsible for the preparation of the Accounts In accordance with the
requirements of the Chartties Act 20111.the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trnst's
accounts carried out under Section 145 of the 2011 Act and rn carrying out my examination I have
followed all the applicable Dlrectlons gfven by the Charlty Commisslon under Sectlon 14515}(bl of the Art.
Independent Examlnerfs Report
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come lo my ittenilon In
connertion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
111 Accountlng record5 were not kept in re5pert of the Trust as required by Sectlon 130
of the Acl; or
121 atcounts do not accord with those retords; or
131 the accounts do not comply with the applkable requlrements concernlng the form and contènt
of accounts set out In the Charities (Accounts and Re￿rts) Regulat￿n$ 2008 other than any
requlrement that the accounts glve a true and fair view which is not a matter consldered as
part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters In connectlon with the examlnatlon to whlch
ttention should be drjwn in thi5 report in order to enable a proper understandin8 of the accounts to
