Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To advance the education of the public, particularly young people up to the age of 16 years, in the subject of the Russian language, both written and spoken word.
To help young people, especially but not exclusively, through leisure time activities, so as to develop their capabilities and promote life-long skills that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Throughout the year, the school had an average of 60 pupils. The number at the start of the year was 58, increasing to 61 by the summer term. This was split into 7 classes, taught by 8 teachers and supported by volunteers. All lessons were online.
The trustees met online once every 6-8 weeks to discuss the direction of the school and to work with the administration to achieve our goals.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
In the academic year 2021/21 the school had seven groups:

Pre-school children 2: 3 - 6 year old, learning to speak Russian and familiar with the alphabet

Infant group 1: 6- 7 year old, with good command of Russian, starting to read

Year 1: 7 - 9 year old, whose Russian is good for their age

Year 2: 8-9 years old, can speak Russian, write simple sentences

Year 3 :9-11 year old, who can speak Russian well and developing their knowledge of Russian grammar and writing

Year 4 : 11 - 13 year old, who can speak Russian well and are developing their knowledge of Russian grammar, GSCE Russian
-
Year 5: 13 - 15 year old, who are fluent in Russian and have a good command of Russian grammar, GSCE Russian and A+ Russian
The students had online lesson during the last school year due to the lockdown in the country. The number of students attending online lessons slightly decreased, particularly younger learners who found online tuition challenging to engage with.
