## Activities

**Objects:** The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit, anywhere in the world, with a strategic focus on the UK and Ireland:1. To help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.2. To develop the capacity and skills of the members of socially and economically disadvantaged communities in the UK and overseas in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society. 3. To prevent or relieve poverty and financial hardship; and4. Any other purposes recognised as charitable under the laws of England and Wales, for the time being.

**Activities:** The Foundation focuses on two areas:  building capacity and skills in socially and economically disadvantaged communities, and the protection and improvement of the environment.The Foundation funds research into root causes of social/economic disadvantage and environmental issues and the effectiveness of current/potential future interventions, so contributing to positive change
