The chanty's goals are to advan, help and support education of children in the Fnch language and culture in such ways as the Trustees shall think fit. Summary of the objects ofthe charity set out in its governing document The children leam how to speak, read, understand and write in French in small classrooms taking into account their age and abilities. The main activity provided by Ecole Tricolore is to provide French lessons to children. Ecole Tricolore provides Frenth lessons in two different structures both located in the Borough of Bromley. - A Saturday school based in West Wckham . lessons of the hours for children between 2.5 and 15 years old. - A Wednesday after-school club based in Bromley . lessons of one hour and a half for children belween 4 and 10 years old. As stated in the Charity's goveming document, Ecole Tricolore is primarily aimed at children having at least one French speaking parent. Ecole Tricolore also has Glassffjoms ft)r children whose French is below average but who are ready to improve. At Ecole Tricolore, we make sure that all children have access to help and support in order to succeed. In accordance with the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit, the Twstees of Ecole Tricolore ensure that no pupil will be disadvantaged by their academic abilities or their ability to pay the fees. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charlty during tho year Ecole Tricolore has welcomed 171 students beeen 2 5 and 15 years old. There are 14 classes on Saturdays with the Wednesday after school club. Our website remains our main Sour of advertisement. Parents also spread the word about our school and what we offer which is very valuable to them. Our students have been very successful with an average rate of 93.30kn. DELF is an official diploma certifying the French language level of a child so that helshe can join a French school later. We have been working in parthership with the London French Institute, which every year allocates plaixs to the students of FLAM schools like Ecole Tricolore for the exam. The educational team is encouraged to diversify their teaching and their activities, using all kinds of supports. With the teaching of academic French, we also aim at providing relaxing, fun lessons. We also encourage the team to attend regular trainings (some of which are mandatory) offered by Parapluia FLAM all year long.
