Basis of the Annual Report and Accounts As a CIO with a turnover of less than £250.IXKI the tntstees have prepared the accounts on a receipts and payments basls. As the charity had a turnover of less than £IO.(KX) no independent examination of the accounts has been undertaken. This report has been created with reference to the Charlty Commi55ions SORP. Introduction The previous year has been difficult for the charity as costs have primarily in¢aSed as SOSA no longer vmshed to share the costs of web hosting. No donatlons have been received as Covid has curtailed fund raising activities. In118ht of this no Grants have been awarded although the Bank Account remalns healthy. 3. Objectlves and Activities The objectlves ofthe charity are Snduded in the governlbw document and are restrlcted to the followln8 Alms- a. For the advancement of educatlon of ehildren attendin8 or wishin8 to attend Sibford School by the provlsion of Bursaries to Scholars who have need of financlal assistsnce. b. For the advanrnent of education of former scholars of Slbford Sthool by the provision of Grants to Fonmer kholars who have need of financlal asslstance. For the advanment of educatSon to scholars of Sibford School by providin8 and assisting in the provrsion of Facilltles at Sibford School which would not otherwise be provided by the School. Each of these Alms of the charlty are desl8ned for the public benefit in that they generally improve the level of education withln society. 4. Achlevements and Perfomiance With regards to fund raisirE we have ralsed no ffloney in the past 12 months. 5. Flnancial Review Durlng the Financlal Period Income totalled £0 and Expenditure totalled £514. so givin8 a net 1055 of £514. When deducted from the prevlous yearfs cumulatlve surplus of £13,481 this now leave5 a cumulative balan of £12,968. The Charity continues to ring-fen donations based on a donors pferen with any Gift Aid being allocated to the Charl5 Administration budget
With regard5 to Reserves it is the drit5 policy that no expenditure will be commltted to unless there is sufflcient money in the appropriate fund to cover any expendlture.
