**Objects:** Object 1. To preserve Sudbury Gasworks for the benefit of the people of Sudbury Parish, Derbyshire and of the Nation. Preserving the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the gasworks and its environment. To promote the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the gasworks for the benefit of the people of Sudbury Parish, Derbyshire and of the Nation. To raise awareness and inform the public of the significance of the gasworks within the Parish of Sudbury.Object 2. To benefit the residents of Sudbury Parish and the wider community in an inclusive common effort to advance education and to provide social and recreational facilities with the objective of improving wellbeing.

**Activities:** Having negotiated a 99-year lease, we intend to rescue, preserve and refurbish the Old Sudbury Gasworks building to provide a new community resource.  This will make a real difference to our heritage, people and local community.  We will tell the story of the gasworks and the industrial development of the estate, as well as researching and interpreting the wider historical context of the village.
