Cash funds at ￿ Aprll 2023 amounted to £166.913, an increase of £92,960 durlng the year.
It Is the Trustee's alm to maintaln reserves at a level to ensure fundlng requirements for the
forthcomln8 year can be met and to safeguard the or8anisatlon against unforeseen clrcumstances.
The trustees are conslderin8 projects whlch may be funded In 2024 relating to the promotlon of
green energy across the Catholic Church In England Scotland and Wales.

The charivs trustees are responsible for the preparatlon of the accounts. The charity's trustees
consider thal an audit is not required for this period under sertion 144121 of the Charltles Act 2011 Ithe
2011 Attl and that an Independent examination is needed.
It is our resp)nsibility to-
examine the account5 (under sertion 145 of the 2011 Act):
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Oirecttons given by the Charity Commisslon under
section 14515llbl of the 2011 Act- and
to state whether particular matters have come to Our attention.
Basls of Independent examlners statèment
Our examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions 8iven by the Charlty
Commissioners. An examination Includes a review of the accounting records kept by the ¢harlty and a
comparlson of the accounts presented wilh those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual
Items or di5¢105ures In the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any su¢h
matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required In an audlt,
and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a true and falr view and the
report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examlners 5taternent
In connection wlth our examination. materlal matters have come to our attentkjn which gives us
cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accountSng records were not kept in accordance with sectlon 130 of the Charities Act,. or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records: or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requlrements toncernin8 the form and
content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts gNe a 'true apd falrf view which Is not a matter
considered as part of an Independent examination.
We have no concerns and have come acros5 f*0 Other matters in Connectlon with the examination to
which attention shouk4 be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
