The FourAdation was set up with the atjn to build on the charitsbk artivities of Hays Trav¢l. The charity
ainhs to work with organisations that support lo￿ people, to help thern achieve tbeir potential and improve
Ibeir quality of life. The Foyndttion would iike to creare op￿rti]￿￿e5 foryoung p￿pIe, alld support them
to achieve their goal4 whdherthis is their healtty sporu art or education.
Witb the majoTity of fi￿d1Trg being donated from Hays Trdvel I.initsd. the staff at Hay5 1 rnvel are also
encouraged to fund￿]5¢￿r0ughout the year. Thewebsi* b&% played amajor mle in allowing local charities

The Trustees have referred io the guidance contsined in the Chwity Conunission's general guidance on
public benefit Wh￿ reviewing its a]ll￿ and objectives and in planning its cUrr￿t alld fijture xtivities. tn
i)articular, the Trustees have considered how plat)ned activities will COlltrAI)ute io the din￿ and objectives
they have seL including those purp)ses as per its MemoTandum and Arricles of Association.
Financial Review
Due to the impact Covid-19 h&5 bad on th¢ travel industry the cknty r¢c¢ived £YI,848 in mon¢tsry
nations from Hays Travel LiTnit¢d in the fwst partof2020. As that W&5]imifyl iovolv¢tn¢nt and artivity
with the charity this year Hays Trnvel Limited have calculated Dil costs (2019.. £20,225) for donated
setvices, being employee tim¢ SW catryiDg out FouDdation objective5. Furtberdonation5 of £40,960 we
received from a GoFundMe Wnpa]g￿ PayPal aud othtr direci coDtribution5. A5 noted atx)ve wts of
£91,807 were apprL)v¢d in th¢ year. Ill r¢]atioD to r£sOU￿ expended ￿er¢ w&5 a 8oveman¢e costs gain
lot￿1]￿g £1,575 and there was a Det Surplus ill thc year of £51,￿21.

a￿oUnts for this period ￿ the Foundation has the fi]nds available to ci>ver all commitments for twelve
