**Objects:** FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS AND TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AND, IN PARTICULAR, TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN RESCUE HOMES OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS.

**Activities:** We are an animal rescue and rehoming charity, operating within and around Cumbria. We aim to help neglected or unwanted animals, and to arrange for the provision of good homes for them. It is our policy never to put down an animal except where legally required or on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.
