benefit of children and young people in The
Kingdom of Cambodia, through the delivery of
drowning prevention interventions.
The main drowning prevention activities
delivered are Water Safety, Safe Rescue and
CPR education delivered to children, young
people and adult caregivers in Cambodia.
SWIM Cambodia has complied with the duty to
have due regard to the commission's public
benefit guidance when exercising any powers

whole.|Para 1.20|In 2023, SWIM Cambodia worked in
partnership with a local non-governmental
organisation (NGO) called ‘Hile Teuk
Kampuchea’ (HTK). During this time SWM
Cambodia trained HTK in the delivery of
Water Safety, Safe Rescue and
Resuscitation education. In December 2023,
10 new volunteers were trained bringing the
total to 12 active trainers. 288 children and 10
adults were educated in Siem Reap,
Cambodia.
SWIM Cambodia continue to support HTK
with technical advisory support, training, and
funding. It is expected that SWIM Cambodia
will expand it’s drowning prevention
interventions through operational delivery by
