The main drowning prevention activities delivered are Water Safety, Safe Rescue and CPR education delivered to children, young people and adult caregivers in Cambodia. SWIM Cambodia has complied with the duty to have due regard to the commission's public benefit guidance when exercising any powers or duties, wherever relevant. |

Para 1.20 | SWIM Cambodia’s activities were greatly affected by the COVID19 pandemic, with Cambodian schools closed for the majority of the year. During the financial year, 2021-22, SWIM Cambodia worked in partnership with International NGO, Helpcode for the delivery of Water Safety, Safe Rescue and Resuscitation education to 926 children and 42 adult caregivers. 7 volunteer trainers were retained, and 3 new trainers were educated. SWIM Cambodia trustees have also been working on creating a local entity and local board, developing plans to expand our work and reach of drowning prevention interventions. |
