**Objects:** TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT ST JAMES THE LESS CHURCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AS A PLACE OR WORSHIP AND FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES DEEM APPROPRIATE.

**Activities:** The object of the Friends is to preserve and protect St James the Less Church for the benefit of the public as a place of worship and for such other charitable purposes as the Trustees deem appropriate.  As such, the Friends are a secular organisation which works closely with the Parochial Church Council to ensure that the church and the community around it are preserved for future generations.
