Summary of achievements	the main ofthe charity	The main achievements ofthe charity during the year under review considered to be as follows:	are
during the year		i) Fundraising - Productive fundraising activities securing generous	and
		regular donations, particulary from the graduates of Dow Medical
		College, Karachi, Pakistan, resident in the UK.
		The total funds raised in the year under review amounted to E2,662.
		ii) Grants - Total funds amounting to F3,000were granted to support	the
		following specific projects;
		a) HOPE (Health-Oriented Preventive Education) UK CIO —working
		with this UK registered charity (and Pakistan registered Non-
		Governmental Organisation (NGO)), which has a mission to provide
		services ofhealth and education for the poor and needy in Pakistan.
		Funds granted in the year under review amounted tof1,500.
		b) Midland Doctors Association UK- working with this UK
		registered charity, which has a mission to purchase, equip and
		operate a hospital facility for the poor and needy in Kashmir,
		Pakistan.
		Funds granted in the year under review amounted to E1,500.

					In the Trustees' view, the reserves should provide	the charity	with	with
Srief statement		ofthe			adequate financial stability and the means for it to meet its charitable
charity's policy		on reserves			objectives for the foreseeable future.
					The trustees propose to maintain the charity's reserves	at a level which		is
					at least equivalent to six months operational expenditure, and have done
					so having regards to its manner ofoperation of likely funding streams.
					The trustees review the amount of reserves that are	required to ensure
					that they are adequate to fulfil the charity's continuing	obligations	on	a
					quarterly basis at their finance meeting.
