The new leadership team which was established in 2021 continue to ably and effectively lead

Purchase of building: Beacon Church is in the process of purchasing the building from
Christian Trust. An offer has been accepted and the fvnds raised. It is hoped to complete the
purchase by the end of 2025. The premises prove to be a real community hub as we actively
seek to reach out to the local community via the weekly Community Kitchen and other athvities.
Related Parties and other organSsations
Beacon Church is a member of (1) Commission group of churches (South West region)
facilitating being geographically accessible and relational to the other churches in the area (2)
the Evangelical Alliance and (3) Churches Together in Bndport & District (CTIBD) Beacon
Church financially supported the CTIBD Youth Worker Project and a worker out in Uganda.
Financlal review and reserves policy
Beacon Church was substantially funded by donations and gifts from rts congregation. This
enabled staff to be employed and the premises maintained so that Beacon Church could carry
out rts ministry. Trustees aim to maintain free reseNes in unrestricted funds of approximately
three months, unrestricted charitable expenditure, which they consider will provide sufficient
funds to respond to any unexpected drop in income or rise in expenditure in the short term.
The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees, report above.
