All Street Pastor volunleers need to compl8le an appli¢atK)n fomi
and provide bNO references. They are then recommended following
an interview by existing Street Pastor Team Leaders. They need to
c￿mplete th8 whole Street Pastor training programme either face to
face or on line.
DBS checks are carrfad out on all Street Pastors and renewed
every 3 years.

Results for 2025
Summary of the main
achievements of Ihe Charity
during the year
Partner and Communlty Links
Street Pastors enjoy very good links and work closely with partner
organisats'ons. These include the Northamptonshire Police, Northampton
Town Cgntre Task Group, Pub Watch, Single homeless forum, the
Guardians (Safer Nights Out Van) and venue security staff. Street
Pastors are well regarded and appreoiated by these partners and
everyone who wor1<s within the Nighl Time Economy (NTE)
The Trus188s have Successful￿ trained and commissioned on6 new
Street Pastor. Patrols conlinue regularly to patrol the streets of
Northampton.
During this year Northamplon Str88t Pastors celebrated 17 years of
service to Northampton.
Volunteers
All patrols are carried out on a voluntary basis and each team has a
senior Street Pastor. Northampton Street Pastors have 22 acb'v8
volunteers. Collectively they patrolled on the streets particularty in the

Somè of the current volunteers undertook 8xtra training in hom616ssness
and drugs.
Interventions
Street Pastors continue to have interventions with everyone in the nigm
lime economy in particular those who have been clubbing.
Street Paslors dea￿ wtih over 50 vulnerable females and 48 vulnerable
males.
They removed 18991 glass bottles from the streets and swept up over
219 lols of glass. This protects the vulnerable on the streel and helps
prevent the bottles being used as a weapon.
They Inte￿ened in many cases of men stalking girfs coming oui of nigm
clubs
Recrultrnent
One new Street Pastors was reGruited. trained and ready to patrol. They
had several observers who are in the process of being recrtjiled.
Recruitsnent is ongoing in Northamplon to help maintain the ￿v￿ of
volunteers working within Northampton Street Pastors.
Staffing
Louis Wright continues as Adminislrator of the initiative. In Ihe absence
a ci)ordinator Sarah Williams, one of the Trustees looks after day to day
running with Paula White, Roger Smart and Adrian Scott all Trustees,
attend varfous meeting on ￿haIr of the inttiative.
