DISCIPL5NG THE NA TIONS Objectives and Activities Purpose The advancement of the Christian religion. in particular but not exclusively by promoting Christian and vocational learnin& education and training. Main Activities The main activity of Discipling the Nations is the development of accredited Christian courses to be run in a variety of settin8s e.g. church. prisons or other or8anisations. The curriculum is flexible in len8th and depth of study to cater to a wide variety of learners and learning envlronments. Specifically, Discipling the Nations undertakes the following activities.. Development of Bible Course Curriculum. partlcularly Chaplaincy Development of Learning Outcomes and working wlth AIM Iformerly OCNWMRI on recognised accreditation. Verlfy the standard of teachin8 and marking of course5 being run Assist Sn the delivery of teachin8. Discipling the Nations operates DtN Academy- which runs OtN courses and Is financially considered a division of Discipling the Nations and is therefore included in these accounts. Achievements and Performance The 202312024 year has seen the further development of onllne course content. The chaplaincy course, which concluded in May 2024, was successfully delivered via Zoom and several students continued their education to postgraduate or master's levels and secured employment as chaplain5 or in healthcare professions. We have continued to expand our content on community chaplaincy. These modules are desi8ned to addre55 the unique challenges faced by chaplains working with specific 8roups e.g. family and youth. providins them with the tools and knowledge necessary to offer effertive support and 8uidance. Additionally, we started initial discussions and brainstormin8 around a new Worship and Pastoral Care course. This course will be tailored to equip students with the skills needed to lead worship services and provide pastoral care in various settin85, includin8 churches, hospitals, and community centres. The curriculum will cover a wide range of topics, from liturgical prartices and sermon preparation to counselling techniques and crisis intervention. This new addition will further enhance our commitment to providing a holistic and inclusive spiritual education, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared to serve their communities in diverse and meaningful ways.

John Maunder-Remuneration for teaching & marking Colin Bennet- Remuneration for teaching £6,000.00 £ioo.00 Financial Review Overall income for the year was £9,230.96 which all relates to unrestricted activities, raised through student fees of £8,680.96 and donations totalling £550.00. Expenditure for the year was £7,582.16 covering 8eneral runnin8 Costs, office supplies, staffin81contractors. OCN fees In addition to a bursary dlsbursement of £335.00. For the financial year 2023124 we report a profft of £1,313.80. Resol vo.s The trustees define the charity's free reserves as unrestricted assets which are available to the charity and to be expended at the Trustees, discretion in furtherance of any of the charity's objectives, but which has not yet been spent, committed or designated. The trustees Confirm that the free reserves should be held at a mlnlmum of £3,5 representin8 an avera8e of three month's volunteer travel expenses, contractor costs and rent plus the annual OCN centre registration fee. At the end of the year free unrestricted funds of £5,460.18 were available. which satisfies the charitrfs criteria.
