## Objectives
To provide grants and donations for such charitable purposes for the public benefit in Kimpton and the surrounding area as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.
## Financial Summary
What a year 2020 was! The year the Kimpton May Festival never happened!
Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic it was no surprise that the 2020 Kimpton May Festival had to be cancelled. Despite not holding a festival the Kimpton May Festival still raised nearly £3,000 from online donations from individual online donations and a donation from the Kimpton Parish Church. As the festival was cancelled early we did not incur many costs meaning we still made a profit of just over £1,000.
With a smaller pot to donate from there were less donations than usual. The Kimpton May Festival Trust did the following donations: Kimpton Primary School received £1000 and we gave £200 to the following charities Garden House Hospice, Herts Air Ambulance, Isabel Hospice, Keech Cottage Hospice,
Local clubs, charities and organisations seeking financial support from the Kimpton May Festival Trust should contact the trust with details of their request. The committee also manages a welfare fund which can be used by anyone in the parish with a special hardship need. Applications for the welfare fund are handled in strict confidence.
