||||||check team.|
||||||Due to the current pandemic<br>and|
||||||movement<br>restrictions<br>into the UK we|
||||||have been unable to bring over as many|
||||||dogs as normal. We also expect Brexit|
||||||and importing<br>restrictions<br>to impact on|
||||||movement<br>ofdo s next<br>ear.|

This year we have paid 65,960to our
---
rescuers<br>in Romania this year to provide
support for dogs in shelters<br>and on the
streets and preparation<br>costs for rescued
dogs.
This also includes<br>neutering<br>and
emergency<br>care on an adhoc basis for
dogs found on the streets that are in
immediate<br>danger and/or<br>may need
veterinary<br>treatment.
This is lower than last year due to the
current restrictions<br>and less dogs being
able to be rescued to the UK.
Donations ofdog food, bedding etc have
also been sent via the transport<br>company
on their return to Romania to distribute to
our rescuers.
This year due to donations<br>and support
we have also been able to help dogs
needing the most care, extra treatment
and also for older dogs. The cost of
veterinary<br>care in the UK for dogs
rescued has totalled 611,169 this year
which has increased<br>substantially<br>from
last year's figure of 65,152. This is partly
due to providing<br>medical care in the UK
that could not be carried out in Romania.
This is in addition to their travel costs.
We have social media pages where
adopters share videos, photos and
provide advice and support to each other.
We also continue to offer support<br>and
advice after adoption,<br>where needed.
We also provide a facility for supporters
to make donations<br>to Romania through
us. We simply accept donations<br>and
forward<br>them straight to a particular
rescuer or cause as requested<br>by the
donator.
Due to the pandemic<br>and Brexit
restrictions<br>we are unable to predict what
we will be able to achieve next year but
we aim to increase what we have done
this year. In addition to rescuing as many
dogs as we can we hope to provide more
funding<br>for neutering<br>programmes<br>to
help towards<br>solving the over population
ofdogs.
