The company's principal activity during the year continued to be TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH IN THE HANDSWORTH AREA BIRMINGHAM, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG MUSLIMS IN THE ISLAMIC FAITH

Accountants' report to the director of DARUL ELM COMMUNITY CENTRE LTD
You consider that the company is exempt from an audit for the year ended 31 March 2022. You have acknowledged, on the balance sheet, your responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These responsibilities include preparing accounts that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company at the end of the financial year and of its profit or loss for the financial year.
In accordance with your instructions, we have prepared the accounts which comprise the Profit and Loss Account, the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the accounting records of the company and on the basis of information and explanations you have given to us.
We have not carried out an audit or any other review, and consequently we do not express any opinion on these accounts.

The director is satisfied that the company is entitled to exemption from the requirement to obtain an audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.
The member has not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Act.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

2. Annual Review
I would like to begin by extending my congratulations and gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the development of the Darul Elm Community Centre over the past year.
The staff, committee members, volunteers, and partners have been working tirelessly to ensure the growth and sustainability of the Centre. Despite starting with minimal funding from both the community and Trustees, we were able to continue offering specialized services. However, we do not wish to stop here, but rather strive to continue developing the Centre and providing necessary services for the Somali and other African communities in the West Midlands.
We are honored that many people and mainstream organizations consider us to be a 'flagship' organization, and we are motivated to continue our efforts. As the Chairman of Darul Elm Community Centre, I am deeply grateful for the support and help of the Management Committee, volunteers, community members, community leaders, councilors, members of the press, and public & private sector organizations.
In particular, I want to express my appreciation to those who provided personal donations and encourage them to continue their support to help us maintain our services for the children attending our Centre.

3. Darul elm Community Centre
Darul Elm Community Centre is a Charity (Reg No.1160892) and a Limited Company by Guarantee (Reg No. 08938426) established in March 2014. The organisations aims and objectives are to advance the Islamic faith in the Handsworth area of Birmingham for the benefit of the public through holding of prayer meetings, lectures, celebration of Eid festivals, producing and distributing literature on the Islamic faith to enlighten other about the Islamic religion.

The following are the key objectives of our Organization;

To advance the Islamic faith in the Handsworth area of Birmingham for the benefit of the public through holding of prayer meetings, lectures, celebration of Eid festivals, producing and distributing literature on the Islamic faith to enlighten other about the Islamic religion.

To advance the education of children and young Muslims.

Housing support for the homeless.

Training and relief of poverty to the disadvantaged members of the society.

Care and counselling to the drug addicts.
