**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:(1) THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION AMONGST PEOPLE IN NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, DERBYSHIRE AND LEICESTERSHIRE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY OR PARTS OF SOCIETY AS A RESULT OF MENTAL ILL-HEALTH, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A RESOURCE CENTRE PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITIES FOR RECREATION, SOCIAL INTERACTION, EDUCATION, SUPPORT AND ADVICE DESIGNED TO ASSIST THE RECOVERY AND WELLBEING OF SUCH PEOPLE AND TO ENABLE THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY.(2) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE BOROUGH OF BROXTOWE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** The Charity manages Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston, where we provide, and are developing a widening range of support services for people suffering from mental ill-health, social exclusion or other social disadvantages. These include therapeutic activities such as music, crafts and gardening, and courses provided by Nottingham College and other educational and training bodies.
