one of their regimental chapels.
The FO￿ndatIon pruvlded advlce to the Choplaln and supported hlm In h15 pastorol work and In the mlnistry whlch he
exerc*ses in and from the Chapels.
While Hlstoric Royal Palaces IHRP - Charity No. L066821 maintains the physica1 structures and pertn4nent fixtures of the
Chape15, It Is necessary for the Foundation to ralse, from worshipper5 and supporters of the Chapels aTrd others, the funds
required to malntaln the act1w1ll￿ of the Chèpels and to expand th2 reach of the Chdpel's communities and thè Chaplaln's

include some of the most deprfved parts of the country. Durtng the period under revlew. the Foundatlon extended thi5 work
by contlnuing a scheme for members of the cangregation to support a Foo¢t Bank in Towor H3mlcts.
We are most grateful for the re￿Ipt of a large donatlDn frorn two Arnerican vlsltors. Durfng the period, thÈ Chapel was
closed for peryods due to the Installation of 3 11ft at the West door. This work, an Important part of HRP'S aC￿SSIbIlItY
strategy, began In December 2024 and was planned to flnlsh In Aprll 2025. The complexlty of the archaeology that was
uncovered led to significant prolect delays and work was not completed during thls reporting periad. Greater ac￿sIbilIty
wlll asslst In the delivery of the charity's beneflt. The Foundatlon chose to combine the donation wlth some of Its awn
capital to provlde funds of ÉlOO,000 to HRP In support of thÈ work. Further dOna￿on5 of £1,750 were made to certaln other
choritles and asslstance was provided to some to enable them to hold servlces the Chapels.
The chapel remalns busy and In giK>d heart. It has been a busy accounwng year, wlth the usual round of weédlngs,
baptlsms. 0￿S1onal servlces and Chrlstmas Carol servltes. Conttrts and other choir activlties have also taken platr. A
hlghllght was the use of The Chapel of St Peter ad Vin¢ula far the Spltalflelds Festival for a Spltalflelds Concert. Vlsltor
numbers to the thapel rernaln hlgh and the support from HRP and the Yeoman Warders Is appreclated by everyone.
Publie Btsnellt
When planning activitles for the year, the Chaplaln and the Trustees have considered the Chtrity Commlsslon's guldance on
publlc benefit arpd, in particular, the speclftc guldance on charitles for the advancement of rellglon. The servltrs exempllfy
faith through prayer and scrlptur&, muslc and sacrament. The maln servlces whlch are held in the Chapels are conducted
tlot only For the beneFIt of those who work and Ilve wlthln the Tower of London, and for the regular extra-tnural
congregatlons, bul also for the publlc generallyi to facilltate wlde publle partlclpatlon, arr3ngemertts are In place for
members of the publlc to be admltted to thÈ Tower of London freÈ of charge If they wish only to attend servlces In the
Chapel5.
Nearly 3 tnlllion people would normally vlslt the Tnwer of London each year and a substantial number of them vlslt one or
both of the Chtpels. In so doing they expedence the Chapels, nor only ès pla￿$ of beauty and gr2at slgnlficance In the
history of the natlon, but also as livlllg pla￿$ of worship.
