The Rasche Family Charitable Trust – Chairman Report

The past year was good financially for the charity, as interest rates increased and investments showed decent returns. This allowed us to continue with our policy of granting an amount of around 6% of our assets, without much diminishing our capital. Thus, we granted £60,000 this year.

We continue to grant to our main charities and to some local ones where we can see the results of those grants and visit the teams involved with their beneficiaries.

The trustees review incoming grant requests and may agree to grant to new or previously engaged charities if we feel we have funds available, and their request meets our criteria.

We met three times during the year and discussed any relevant governance matters as well as potential grants. We agreed to continue with our previous policies. The trustees take no fees or expenses and give their time and advice voluntarily
